Papaya and Avocado Salad

A scrumptious salad, easy to prepare anywhere!

Alter this recipe according to how many you are serving.

Cut 1-2 papayas and 1-2 avocados into slices.

Tear washed chilled 1 or more heads romaine lettuce into pieces.

Thinly slice ¼-1/2 red onion.

Dressing:

Mix    ¼- ½  cup white sugar
         
½ teaspoon dry mustard
         
½ cup white wine vinegar
         
½ cup salad oil
         
2 green onions chopped

Onions can be marinated in dressing for added flavour.

Mix fruit, onions and lettuce pieces with dressing just before serving.

Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
