Peas & Carrots

As I’m a veggie lover I’m always looking for easy and different ways to spice up the product! This is a guaranteed hit!

2 bags baby carrots
4cups snow peas
6 green onions
2 tbsps unsalted butter

¼ cup ginger sauce (I used Western Family ginger glaze)

½ tsp salt
½ cup toasted pecans ( break in pieces)

Slice the carrots diagonally in 1 inch pieces. Cover & boil 2-3 minutes.
Trim pea string and ends.
Thinly slice onions.

Melt butter in large fry pan. Heat carrots to warm 4 minutes.
Add peas for 3 minutes.
Stir in sauce and salt.
Sprinkle with onions and pecans.

Serves 6 to 8
